Care Instructions

Utility Kilts - Solid and Tartans

These are machine washable.  I recommend washing on a gentle cycle in cold water. You can dry these, but I have found that hanging them to dry works the best for removing unwanted wrinkles in the pleats and avoiding any shrinking of the kilt.

Traditional Kilts

Non-wool fabrics - While these are technically machine washable, you do have to be careful with the straps so as to not ruin them. Dry cleaning is acceptable. If you do machine wash do on a very gentle cycle with mild detergent. Always hang dry, do not use the dryer

Wool Fabrics - Recommend dry clean for most of these. All made in Scotland kilts must be dry cleaned. Our woolen wool kilts can be machine washed following the directions above.
