Deluxe Black Utility Kilt Ripstop
The ripstop is a lightweight, extremely durable fabric that is used in a variety of very demanding situations.
The UTKilts Deluxe utility kilt takes the standard utility kilt to another level. The bigger side cargo pockets allow you to hold more than just the basics. Even if you manage to fill these pockets, there are two back pockets for extra storage and easy access. The studded front apron on this utility kilt gives it very unique look that will turn heads no matter where you are. We have kept the side buckles on this kilt to allow a little adjustment in the hip area, but also add some flair to the utility kilt. The waist band also has an extra set of snaps that allows the waist to go up an inch in size. Still made from a highly durable poly-cotton blend material that can handle just about any situation you might find yourself in.

Sizing / Measuring
It is extremely important you follow our measuring video and order the size you need based on your measurement, not pants size. All of men's pants are labeled 2-4 inches smaller than what they actually measure. Please see our measuring video below or checkout or measuring page here.
If you measure an even size like 38 or 40, then order that exact size. If you fall in between sizes we typically recommend ordering up in size for a loose, but comfortable fit. However, each size has an extra set of snaps to go up one inch in waist size. If you prefer a snug fit then you can order down if measure an odd size (example: 37 can go up to a 38 for a loose, comfortable fit or down to a 36 for snug fit)

Only had it a few days, but fits well and is comfortable. The material seems sturdy and light enough to not swelter in the summer heat of Florida. That we will have to wait and see.
Great Summer-weight kilt. Great for doing whatever you do in the Summer! I wear mine all the time. Great look and "hangs" perfectly. Just ordered more of them. I like the back pockets and the side pockets are just the right size. No wedging you hands in; they are wide enough for my big hands.
This is my fifth ripstop, I use then for hiking and yardwork. Can't recommend them enough.
This is my 8th kilt purchased from UtKilts, can't beat the quality for the price.
Sizing is right on, the cotton/poly ripstop material was as expected, and the quality of everything seems top notch. Can't wear shorts to work, but am definitely looking forward to wearing my new UTKilt.
As the title says, the kilt is well-made, durable, and comfortable. I like the added length of the deluxe over the standard, as well as the extra pockets. They came in handy while kayak'ing the other day.
little bit lighter weight than i expected, but still a great product, this is my second kilt, will be buying more in the future
Good fit, lots of pockets, no questions about being Scottish.
80+ degrees, sunny, humid, and chance of rain? This is what you want. I like the style of UT Kilts enough that this was my second purchase. I love the fabric. Lightweight ripstop is exactly what you'd expect. It's light and moves easily. It dries much quicker than others.
Recommended. Buy one.
Dries quick and wrinkles disappear while hang-drying.
The only potential downside is the black coating on the buttons/buckles might wear. I've worn it several times and washed/hang-dried it. I turn it inside out while washing to minimize wear. I can see, however, a little orange/bronze looking metal showing through on the buckle where it appears the black has worn a bit. Hopefully won't continue much.
When it arrives, don't panic when you see some white-ish stuff along the seams/pleats. It appears that maybe they use some sort of glue to hold the fabric in place while it's stitched. After the first wash, it's gone.
Thanks UT Kilts!
