Standard II Black Modern Utility Kilt
DON'T forget to see our Size Chart to see how to measure for our Utility Kilts!
This UTK Standard II utility kilt is the other standard $50 dollar kilt that is available. We took the design on this kilt a little further away from traditional and it ended up in group of its own. The traditional belt buckles were removed. Snaps were also added to the front apron. Each of the side cargo pockets were made bigger so as to allow larger cell phones to be carried inside the pocket as well as outside. This kilt just plain rocks. You will not find better quality or a lower price on a similar kilt. Don't wait to get this amazing kilt in all the colors available. Kilt up, kilt on, and don't look back!

This is my first kilt. I am in between sizes, and I ordered the size down, rather than up. It worked out great and the tighter adjustment is about right. So far I have only worn it around doing yard work, and it's working great.
This is the perfect all purpose kilt.
great quality material and construction
Awesome material and great fit!!!
Got this kilt and a couple others for my son's age 14 and 15 they love them. Only issue I have with one of the kilts one of the snaps seems to be off in its placement but other then that my kids love them.
I own several kilts, ranging from casual to formal, so I have a reasonable grasp on the product. Brice's kilts have excellent form and function, and I own two of his kilts. The previous, a gray standard 1, I loved. I bought it just a bit too small, and eventually gave it away to someone who loves it and wears it constantly.
The second one, this khaki Standard II, I bought on recommendation. I love the pockets, I dig the snaps rather than the straps, and it *looks* nice, but the fabric is so light that it hardly holds its pleats. Instead, it just crinkles up. Now that it's summer I've been wearing my kilts more, and I tend to gravitate away from this one because it's a chore to have to re-iron it every two or three wears to make it look presentable, let alone comfortable to sit on.
If I had a suggestion for Brice, I'd say look to raise the weight of the fabric by an ounce or two. I think it would make a huge difference.
Feels great seems light to me, all the fabric seems really study but the belt loops seem a bit weak and the very bottom very front button only seems to be halfway attched and im in fear of losing it so i havent been buttoning it. Ive worn it hiking and a day out on the town to get a tattoo and in a move. Im currently wearing it at my stocking job and i gotta say its pretty awesome! I look forward to many more days eearing this and to eventually getting even more!
Gave it as a gift. Was a big hit. And as a seamstress I can tell you it is very well made and very sturdy. I gave it to a woodworking craftsman so the pockets are perfect.
Made of sturdier materials than I feared, this kilt is solid enough to wear traditionally without showing off to neighbors. It fits great, looks good, and the system of snap buttons hold it securely. If you're not wearing a belt, you can tear the whole thing off in one motion, so a belt is a good idea if wearing it out. Now if only dog fur didn't stick to it so much...
