I mainly wear a kilt when I workout. After buying this one, I will never own another kind. This is perfect for lifting, boxing, and strongman work. These are lightweight, and sweat seems to wick away really quick. I really like the velcro closure. I wish I could trade my 2 standard utility kilts in for one more of these!
I knew this kilt would be great for the summer, but WOW! This thing in thin (think swim trunks material thin). It's great for working out, working in yard, lounging, whatever. Not sure I would wear this out other than to the gym, because a light wind is likely to show off your stuff if not careful, but overall this was worth adding to my collection of kilts.
Better than expected. Nice material and great pockets. Definitely get another.
I didn't expect it to be so comfy. It was a little different wearing it for the first time but now that I'm on my third day, I never want to go back to pants. It's slick, sleek, great stitching and excellent material. Also, everyone is impressed I can rock it out and look modern. Beanie with form fitting black tank, black long socks with some slack boots. Highly recommend if you're looking for a modern, chill workout/house kilt.
This kilt is light weight and stretchy. The closure velcro is very long. It allows for a very secure connection. I'm sort of a heavy person. The closure is so secure, I don't feel the need for a belt. This long contact strip of velcro also gives you a lot of room for wight gain or loss.
This kilt also has the jeans side type pockets making a sporrin unneccesary. I like this kilt!
Fits well easy to move in the material breaths well.
Great! Lightweight, dries fast, cool.
I bought this for hiking in the summer heat. They did a great job. It is very lightweight and cool. The pockets are very deep. I do miss the side pockets that are on my Wilderness kilt but it is manageable.
The Athletic Kilt is just as described. Made of that stretchy material that is cool and dries quickly. Though not a dressy kikt by any means it is fine for everyday wear. The velcro waistband makes it easy to find your comfort spot. I'm a 34 in jeans and got a 38 in the Athletic Kilt. Works great and is not a "hip hugger" as a couple of my 36" kilts can be.
I love my Athletic Kilt and would reccomend it highly. If there was anything at all I'd change it would be to take about an inch off the length as the 23 is just a touch long for my build but I'm going to be able to live with it just fine.
